Banana pudding with 3 ingredients? No way. Banana pudding without gelatine? Impossible! Banana pudding that tastes like the filling of an amazing banana cream pie? Oh yeah. This 3 ingredient white chocolate banana pudding blows my mind in flavor and in concept. It tastes, feels and looks like thick, creamy pudding but only has three simple ingredients: white chocolate chips, greek yogurt and bananas. It is truly so delicious and rich every time I make it; I think I have invented something amazing and worthwhile here.

3 Ingredients 5 minutes

All you need are white chocolate chips, greek yogurt and ripe bananas, how easy is that?

This dessert literally takes 5 minutes to make and sets quickly in the fridge. It makes for an amazing dessert for a dinner party: just whip it up and pour it into some small mason jars to set! Now you’ve got yourself an indulgent and easy dessert that is as sweet as any pudding I’ve ever had.

Here are a million and one reasons why you should make this RIGHT NOW:

  • It’s extremely easy, like seriously 3 ingredients!
  • It’s the tastiest dessert: sweet, creamy, thick and more.
  • It ‘s extremely versatile: serve it in mason jars, use it in a trifle, put it in a pie, etc.
  • It makes for a great party dessert.
  • The only refined sugar comes from the white chocolate, and the yogurt adds protein. It has less fat and sugar than other puddings. But believe me, you’d never know from the taste nor the texture of it!

Description

This rich and creamy white chocolate banana pudding is like the best bite of pudding you’ve ever had, with only 3 ingredients and no gelatine!


Scale

Ingredients

2 cups quality white chocolate chips, I like Ghirardelli  

2 cups full fat plain greek yogurt

3 ripe bananas 

Optional for toppings:

peanuts 

vanilla wafers 

cinnamon sugar

caramel syrup


Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. If the heat is too high you’ll burn the chocolate!
  2. Stir occasionally as it melts. It will take about 5-10 minutes to melt.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for a a couple minutes to cool slightly.
  4. Fold the greek yogurt into the melted white chocolate.
  5. Chop the bananas into small pieces and mix into the yogurt/chocolate mixture.
  6. Transfer to a jar and let cool in the fridge until set. Serve as is, or use it to make one of the variations below!

  • melt chocolate on very low heat to avoid burning
  • use ripe bananas but not too brown or they’ll become too mushy when folded into pudding

From basic to bomb: White Chocolate Banana Pudding 3 ways

Ba-nilla Trifle

Ingredients: banana pudding, vanilla wafers, sliced banana, whipped cream, peanut and caramel sauce (optional)

Start by crushing vanilla wafers, you can break them up with your fingers to create big chunks. Alternate layering the vanilla wafers and peanuts (optional), sliced banana and banana white chocolate pudding until your jar or glass is full. Top with homemade whipped cream, don’t be shy with his part! Drizzle with caramel syrup.

Banana Pudding Truffles

Ingredients: banana pudding, extra melted white chocolate, and vanilla wafers or peanuts

Make the pudding and refrigerate until set. Using a melon baller, scoop the banana pudding into small round balls and dip in melted white chocolate. Sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers or peanuts. Freeze and enjoy!

Double Chocolate Tartlets

Ingredients: tartlet crusts, chocolate spread, banana pudding, whipped cream, sliced banana and shaved chocolate or chocolate bar

For this you can make your own tart crusts or buy them pre-made. Spread a layer of chocolate spread on the base of each tartlet. Fill each crust with white chocolate banana pudding. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, fresh banana slices and chocolate curls.
